General Dentistry
Dentistry offers all the general dental services which may be required by you and your family.
The Smile Professionals have your personal wellbeing at heart and will take the time to discuss all the treatment options available to you. Members of the company will also provide you with a written estimate of your treatment.
If you have any concerns regarding any aspect of your oral health or treatment options, here you’ll find a qualified help.
Examinations
Most patients benefit from regular examinations to maintain optimal oral health. Each patient is an individual and as such dentists tailor the frequency of examinations to your needs, rather than assume everyone needs a 6 monthly visit.
Regular examinations can detect problems in your mouth before you are aware of them, thus reducing the cost and time spent in the office. At every examination, you’ll have a screen for all oral diseases including oral cancer. At The Smile Professionals examinations are free.
Any x-rays that are required will be taken during your exam appointment. Depending on the treatment required, dentists may be able to start your treatment too.
Consultations
If larger courses of treatment are required the doctor will invite you back to review your x-rays and discuss possible treatment options with you. You will also be given a written estimate for all options. This is an ideal time for you to ask questions and give us your opinion regarding your treatment.
Please be aware that parents/ guardian must accompany children under 18 years old for a consultation appointment.
Fillings
The Smile Professionals is a mercury-free clinic, therefore dentists do not use metal/ silver, and mercury based fillings here. All the filling materials used here are white and can be shaped to resemble a natural tooth.
Dental Hygiene
The dentists in the Smile Professionals dental center work closely with other dentists to improve and maintain oral hygiene and patient’s oral health.
Daily oral hygiene is vital in preventing the onset and progressive of gum disease. Regular and effective tooth brushing and interproximal (in between the teeth) cleaning are essential in preventing the buildup of harmful bacteria.
At The Smile professionals it is recommended to have a 6 monthly visit to the hygienist, as early detection of gum disease can reduce the risk of the disease progressing. However, patients at a higher risk of dental diseases may be asked to attend more regularly.
Dental Tourism in Cyprus
The Smile Professionals Dental Centre offers an eclectic mix of activities for patients wishing to combine a holiday in Cyprus with their dental treatment.
Dental office maintains American and UK standards in all areas, ensuring you receive a first class service and the quality of treatment you would expect in your home country, but at a fraction of the cost.
The dental office can arrange flights, accommodation, transfers and also sightseeing trips at competitive rates. There is also a complimentary meet and greet service at the airport of Cyprus, where you will meet with a member of your care team, not a third party. You will be given a local mobile phone that you can use to contact the dental office any time.
Before the dental centre can provide you with an accurate quote for your treatment, it would help if you send an e-mail with a copy of your panoramic x-ray and full medical history, including details of any medications you may be taking and any allergies you may have.
