We talked with company director Mr Маrious Sisamos and asked him to tell us about the project.
Cyprus Inform (CI): Mr Sisamos, could you please tell us why you have chosen such an unusual name for a designer studio – Salt & Pepper? Is it associated with the name of a restaurant?
Маrious Sisamos (МS): When we were choosing the name, our aim was to create one that is easy to remember, but which would not be connected with furniture, design and equipment. It was then that the Salt & Pepper idea appeared. This name is easily remembered and reflects seemingly simple things which you can’t do without.
CI: How does your company differ from other firms which are represented in the Cyprus market, in your opinion?
МS: First of all, we are exclusive representatives of all the companies we work with. This means that you can buy such brands as Scavolini, Miele, Kupperbusch, Poliform, Res, and others known to Russian consumers, only from us.
Also, our team is young and tightly-knit and keeps up with the latest fashion and technology trends: we visit foreign furniture exhibitions and exhibitions of accessories several times a year to get acquainted with everything new, our designers participate in various training, company management always keeps in touch with our foreign partners and, consequently, we are the first to find out about all changes and fashions offered in the world of furniture and accessories.
CI: From our compatriots who have used the services of your company, we have found out that yours is a fully customized service. Is it true?
МS: We try to have an individual approach to each client. This is because our goal is not a one-time sale, but a long-term cooperation. As you know, the Cyprus market is quite small and this is why we appreciate each client. We have a number of clients, who turn to us for any changes in design and interior all the time.
When a client turns to us, we can come to his house or office, our specialists will take all necessary measurements, help create a design, pick furniture for the kitchen and the bathroom, a sitting-room or a bedroom, аs well as for office premises.
After the design has been approved, we can deliver furniture and accessories quickly if the choice was made from the samples we have in the warehouse or exhibition hall, or we will order from our partners abroad in which case delivery takes about 2-3 months.
By the way, the design, measurements and the choice of furniture is free in our company. After the furniture has arrived, our company specialists deliver and assemble it free of charge.
CI: Yes, our service is really high. But you most likely understand that people who speak Russian have difficulty in expressing their wish about the interior and design, because they have to operate a certain number of special terms.
МS: Of course, and this is exactly so. Since Russian clients account for about 50% of all customers, we invite specialists who speak Russian for this purpose.
Russian-speaking designers, consultants, interior specialists work in our studio, this is why our clients can easily inform us about their wishes.
