Clarks’ history of elegant and practical shoes began in 1825. Brothers Cyrus and James Clark of Somerset, England, created a company for the production of carpet slippers and sheepskin which has steadily grown into a global brand.

Clarks Shoes in Cyprus
The first official delivery of Clarks to Cyprus began in the 1940’s. However, the turning point in the progress of the establishment of the Cyprus footwear market was in 1970 when a Clarks’ shoe factory opened in the industrial zone of Engomi in Nicosia.
The plant, which existed until 2002, produced 1500 pairs of shoes a day and supplied not only the local market but also exported to countries such as England, Hong Kong, Egypt, Russia, Singapore, Malaysia and many others.

Clarks shoe shops have been operating in Cyprus for more than 50 years and can be found in the four top cities of Cyprus: Nicosia, Larnaca, Limassol and Paphos.
Also, a limited collection of Clarks’ footwear is represented in many shoe stores all over Cyprus.
