The employees of the Limassol port went on strike for indefinite period in attempt to influence the Parliament in its decision on the matter of privatization of the ports.
Such a decision was made on Monday morning and now the port of Limassol is officially closed.
Almost 40 employees, including captains and engineers are ready to stand for their rights. They are blaming the government for being corrupt in relation to the privatization of the three ports in Cyprus.
