This year, the water supply to the houses will not be interrupted. Regardless of the low volume of water in the dams all over Cyprus, there should be enough for this year. The Deputy director of the Nicosia Water Board Andreas Manoli stated that: “It is difficult to predict what will happen next year, if the situation will not change”.
Mr. Manoli also stated that, unfortunately, the recent rains did not contribute much to the water reserves in Cyprus.
