The number of tourists from Russia to Greece has increased by 524% in comparison with the same period of 2015.
According to the RTOA, more than 10,000 Russian tourists has visited Greece in one month.
Also Greece has an increase in revenue obtained from the Russian travelers: in March they have spent almost 8 million Euros, which is 180% than the expenditure of Russian tourist during the same period last year.
According to the experts, further growth is only limited by the problems with issuing of visas to visit the country.
The first reports with issuing of visas were reported in the end of April, when several dozens of Russian tourists were unable to go on their vacation for that reason.
