On Sunday morning residents of Tala village in Paphos have reported an extensive damage done to the central square. The act of vandalism was done by young people, who were bursting fire crackers the night before, causing severe damage to the toilet, wooden partition, a waste bin, a sink and walls.
The head of Tala community board said that the damage done to the property and estimated to be around 2 000 euro will be paid by the community board .
The old churchyard, where the main damage was causes is a part of Tala village square complex and belongs to the Department of Antiquities.
