Today in Nicosia a joint music festival of two communities – UNITY FEST will be held. In this way the organizer of the event – Bi-Communal Peace Initiative “United Cyprus”, the European Parliament Information Office and the European Commission Representation in Cyprus – plan to unite the youth of the two communities of Cyprus.
As part of the festival, a famous jazz group GadjO Dilo and a popular singer Fikri Karayel will perform at the Ledra Palace Hotel. The festival will start at 19:30 and will offer free admission.
Free buses from major cities – Limassol, Larnaca, Paphos, Famagusta and Kyrenia, will be also available for those wishing to attend the concert, with the return at midnight.
