The explosion, which caused the blackout on the Nicosia – Kyrenia highway, took place on the Teknezik power-plant. Two engineers, who were at the facility, got poised by the combustion fumes.
Their lives were saved and they were admitted to the hospital on time, where they received the first aid. Currently their lives are not in danger.
