Several thousand people assembled together in the Turkish part of Nicosia in order to discuss the failed Putsch in Turkey and to show their support to the Turkish president.
At the Ataturk (Sarayonu) square, the Turks living in the so-called Northern Cyprus were shouting out slogans in support of democracy and Erdogan.
They have also unrolled the 8 metre banner with the image of the founder of modern Turkey Mustafa Kemal Ataturk surrounded by flags. His images wearing military uniform and casual clothes were also projected on the big screen behind the stage where people have assembled.
