On the 15th of May, the mini-football centre Campus Sportivo became the venue for the traditional tournament “The Victory Cup 2016” dedicated to the Victory Day, which was organized by the Russian-speaking amateur football league of Cyprus in cooperation with the Cyprus Inform group of companies.
4 teams too part in the tournament: Clubia, Spartans, Exness, Cyprus Inform. The tournament followed the round-robin system.
After persistent battles on the football pitches, the Exness team (Limassol) became the winner of the tournament. The second place was taken by the Spartans, third by Clubia and forth by Cyprus Inform.
The tournament was surrounded by a friendly and positive atmosphere. Furthermore, a very special guest was present during the award ceremony- the world record holder and repetitive winner of the World Guinness awards Mr. Djamshid Turaev, who was personally awarding the participants.
At the end of the tournament, the following winner were announced in each category:
- «Best Goalkeeper» – Zaplin Sergey (Еxness);
- «Best Defender» – Popovkin Denis (Exness);
- «Best Striker» – Vasiliev Ivan (Spartans);
- «Best Player» – Kohanov Sergey (Exness).
Additinalyy, the special prizes from the organization committee were awarded to Andei Iavita (Clubia), Dnitriy Lazarev (Spartans) as well as to the referees Stanislav Kovalski and Konstantin Shirokov.
