After the three-way negotiations, which took place in the UN Headquarters in New York, the Secretary General Ban Ki Moon said that The UN will help the two communities of Cyprus during the negotiations about the reunification.
He also said that the meeting with the leaders of the two communities was very productive and they have discussed the current progress of the situation. He also added that both leaders have requested him to more actively participate in the peaceful resolution of the crisis.
After the meeting, the two leader shook hands.
