According to the complaints of the co-workers, one of the firefighters secured for himself a managing position during the firefighting mission in Israel and also got himself the rank of 1st Lieutenant. Apparently, the officer had the rank of Lieutenant and the decision to award him with the higher rank was put on hold by the Superior Court.
According to the press-secretary of police Mr. Andreas Angelides, the disciplinary investigation was already initiated. The name of the officer under investigation has not been revealed yet and police is investigating this matter.
