Two pieces of legislation, which concern the changes of the healthcare system and operation of autonomous hospitals, will be approved at the next meeting of the Council of Ministers.
After negotiations with the leaders of the Parliamentary parties last year, a relevant decision was made about the administrative and financial autonomy of the public hospitals.
According to the Minister of Healthcare of Cyprus. the deadline for the implementation of the changes is 2020. In order to control this process, a separate organisation has already been formed.
