Mother and daughter, who were about to return back to Russia, were arrested at the Larnaca Airport. During the check-in process, they have started a scandal and declined to follow the normal procedure for the security check. After few unsuccessful attempts to explain to them that it is required for the safety reasons, the tourists have attacked the policeman on duty.
At 20:00 the two women were arrested for assaulting police officer and for resistance during apprehension. The decision on the case will be made by the District Court of Larnaca.
