The Ayious Anargyrous medical centre in Larnaca serves refugees every Wednesday and is able to provide treatment to 30-60 people. The patients, however, complain that they can only see a doctor after waiting in a queue and quite frequently they are waiting outside of the building. Moreover, prolonged contract with the infected promotes spreading of the infections among other patients.
According to in-Cyprus, the complains of the refugees apparently are reasonable: doors do not stay in place, paint is chipping off the walls and there is only one common toilet for men and women.
The locals are urging the Ministry of Health to move the medical centre for refugees to a more suitable facility.
