The popularity dropped by 30% during the last week, due to the fact that the Turkey returned as a holiday destination on the Russian market.
Vladimir Putin has lifted the relevant restrictions on the 30th of June. Greece and Tunisia also suffered together with Cyprus- they were forced to drop their prices by 10% in order to make themselves more attractive then Turkey.
However the Association of Tour operators of Russia stated that the increased demand for Turkey will not remain for long time because the charter flights have not been re-launched yet and holiday packages are not as attractively priced as before.
