The number of tourists, who arrived to Cyprus in November has increased by 15% in comparison with the same period in 2015. According to the statistical data, due to high popularity during that month, the overall increase in the number of tourists who visited Cyprus since January 2016 went up by 20%.
The Minister of Trade, Industry, Energy and Tourism wrote in his twitter that “For the first time in history, Cyprus was chosen as the holiday destination by more than 3,000,000 people”.
Most frequently, people visit Cyprus for tourism purposes and less frequently for business and to visit their relatives.
