Due to the increase in the number of tourist, the Municipal beaches in Cyprus will be patrolled by the police officers on bicycles.
This information was confirmed by the official representative of the CTO- Mrs. Xenia Loizidou.
The introduction of the new measures became the result of the specialised conference in March of this year. This way, police plans to protect tourists from a number of problems, which are more frequent during summer, such as- theft and traffic accidents and excessive consumption of alcohol.
