The Council of Ministers has announced the decision to provide an Easter bonus to the people, who are getting low pensions. Overall, 2,5 million Euros will be allocated as from 10th of April. The minimum amount granted will be 190 per person and will be adjusted depending on the family composition of the pensioner.
The Minister of Labour Mrs. Zeta Emilianidou said that the “payments will be made for those, who fall under category of low pension income”.
The Minister will report the number of pensioners, who received the bonus after the Easter holidays.
