The 10 new illuminated installations appeared on the major entrances to the city, which were made by the group of architects of the city. Among others, there is the “Welcome gates” – which is the monuments made of 2 parts, which represent the Greek letter “P”, which is the first letter in the name of the city.
The whole project, which is made from steel and concrete, tell the history and civilization of Paphos.
The official opening ceremony of the Capital of Culture Paphos-2017 will take place on the 28th of January.
