During his speech in Limassol, the leader of AKEL (opposition party) has said that his party will not accept any guarantees concerning the Cyprus problem. Andros Kyprianou also stated that the AKEL tries to promote the point that the EU Member State should not allow such compromises.
Whilst answering the question whether he will be accompanying President Anastasiades during negotiations in November, he said that he is willing to cooperate if the President will decide to invite the leaders of other parties.
He also confirmed that he will be demanding to meet with the President in order to discuss certain issues.
