The “No Visa” policy between Cyprus and US remains unclear.
The Embassy of USA in Nicosia denied the information about inclusion of Cyprus into the Visa Waiver Program with the United States. The Republic of Cyprus has yet not complied with all of the necessary requirements. The Cypriots, who are willing to travel to the US still need to obtain a visa.
Earlier, the USA-Radio announced that the number of participants in the Visa Waiver Program was increased to 39 states and that Cypriots will be able to enter the US for up to 6 months.
In accordance with the VWP, all that is necessary before the trip to US is to register in the electronic system and state the purpose of the visit.
