The Minister of Defense has presented the new legislation which make the rules concerning conscription quite stricter.
It is developed to aim those who are trying to avoid serving in the army for supposedly having psychological disorders.
The ne legislation will not take into account a report just from one doctor, as it is now. A commission of 5 psychiatrists will be formed, which will be making the final decision. Moreover, if the diagnosis Is confirmed, a person will not be released from his duty. That person will still have to serve for the benefit of the country in civil service for 18 to 19 months.
