The experts have calculated the cost of the Sunday’s municipal and local elections.
The Cypriots have paid 2,5 millions for the elections. This amount includes the work of the government employees and unemployed graduates of the Universities, as well as printing of the ballots. The costs of the candidates and political parties were not taken into the account.
Taking into the account the Parliamentary elections, the total cost of the elections in 2016 exceeds 8 million Euros.
