The first stage of the legal proceedings on the case of Riccos Erotokritou has ended. The defendants can prove their innocence only if they will present new evidence, which has not yet been considered in the proceedings.
The Attorney General has charged his ex-deputy and the President of “Andreas Neocleous” law firm with fraud and corruption.
This case has started one year ago, after the famous lawyer was charged with giving bribe to Erotokritou. With the help of the ex-deputy of Attorney General, criminal proceedings were initiated against citizens of Russia and the lawyers were able to get the business of the Russian clients.
