Police continue investigation into abducted four-year-old Marie Eleni Grimsrud. A girl was kidnapped from a day care in Nicosia last week. After the incident Marie’s father send an e-mail to girl’s mother stating that the girl is safe with him somewhere in Cyprus.
The Minister of Justice Ionas Nicolaou said that four people have been arrested in relation to this case, including a taxi driver from Limassol and Holland’s citizen. Police has received new information and evidence after the interview with the suspects and continues the investigation.
As it was mentioned earlier, the number of children abduction cases in Cyprus, carried by one of the parents is increasing.
