The first charity event of the GreenCyprusCom foundation took place in Cyprus. More than 30 volunteers got together on the plot near the Aphrodite’s Rock and planted 100 olive and carob trees. Later on, they will be looked after by the employees of the Forestry Department of the Republic of Cyprus.
The first participants of the GreenCyprusCom were the members of the companies Cyprus Inform, Cyprus Land and Russian Radio, as well as their friends and family.
However, everyone is welcome to join the movement. The only thing that needs to be done is to choose a tree to plant. All other matter such as equipment, transfers and coffee-break will be provided by GreenCyprusCom.
The non-profit organisation GreenCyprusCom is aimed to restore the forests around Cyprus, which were damaged by the fires.
