Greece started to issue multiple entry Schengen visas to Russian tourists with validity period of 3 years – as announced by Mr. Panayiotis Beglitis, the Consulate General of Greece in St. Petersburg
According to Mr. Beglitis, Greece has simplified the list of required documents in order to process the Schengen visa. For example, for children under 18 years it is sufficient to provide a copy of the birth certificate without the need to present the original document.
He also declared that Greece is expecting the upcoming tourist season to be a very successful one and that Greece will aim to grant visas to Russian citizens in the shortest possible time frames.
