Cyprus, Greece, Italy and Hungary are against prolongation of sanctions against Russia due to the necessity of resuming the trade between the EU and Russia.
However, not only the producers of agricultural products located in those countries are suffering- the representative of agricultural sector of Germany and France were protesting yesterday against the relevant policies of the EU.
At the meeting of Ministers in Brussels, the representatives of the above-mentioned countries stated that sanctions should not be automatically prolonged. Italy and Hungary have stated that this matter should be considered at the highest level and cannot be considered as a fait accompli.
