The electronic signatures are expected ot be legalized in Cyprus. This service was attempted to be implemented few years back, however each time there were certain obstacles to the successful implementation- such as conflicts with the Constitution and lack of funding.
The electronic signature can be used for the purchase of the immovable property, bank transactions and many other instances.
The government has send the request to the Estonian experts asking to help to organize and conduct an open tender for the companies, who are able to implement all the necessary procedures.
