The Electricity authority of Cyprus announced that the prices for electricity supply in March have decreased by 8% in comparison with the previous month.
Over the last 12 month, the prices dropped by 24%.
The EAC has commented that the decrease is largely due to the decreasing fuel prices worldwide.
The calculation of the KWh for domestic use is almost the same throughout the 28 Members of the EU, regardless of the fact that in every country there is a separate isolated system, which is dependent on the import of fuel.
