Several days ago, a 25-year-old man armed with a knife got into the premises of the primary school in Anthoupoli (Nicosia) and was threatening kids and teachers.
It was establish that the young man lives nearby and is addicted to drugs. He was sent to a psychiatric clinic for 3 days and was prohibited from going anywhere near the school.
Today the Minister of Education Mr. Costas Kadis met with the administration of the school and parents of the pupils in order to discuss how such incidents can be avoided in the future.
