Cypriot gas may reach Europe via Turkey. However, according to Mustafa Akinci, this route will only be possible in case if the Cyprus problem will be resolved.
During his speech at the World Energy Congress in Istanbul, the leader of the Turkish-Cypriots said that united Cyprus will be able to supply gas to Europe in the most economic and secure way. Of course, this will improve the economy and will be beneficial for the both communities.
