The representatives of the two countries had a meeting on Sunday. The Cyprus delegation consisted of the President of Cyprus, Minister of the Foreign Affairs and Minister of Energy.
Various issues were discussed during the meeting, including the Cyprus problem and multilateral cooperation between Cyprus, Greece and Israel.
The Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu stated that “Cyprus and Israel – are two small countries in the Easter Mediterranean. They share the common problems and opportunities when it comes to the matters of security, emergencies, trading and natural gas.”
