The International Airports of Cyprus are ready to set the new record. According to the Hermes Airports company, by the end of 2016 the number of passengers is expected to reach 8,5 million. The number of passengers has increased by 15,9% since the beginning of the year.
The peak of the passenger flow is expected to be from the 8th to 24th of August.
During the upcoming two weeks, the number of flights is expected to reach 3600, with will transport more than 500,000 passengers.
The Larnaca Airport will service most of those flights.
