The President of the National Gambling Association of Cyprus has announced the initiative to control the market of online gambling. Any such website, which failed to submit the application until 3rd of November will be included in the black list in the Republic.
The licensing will make combating tax evasion easier and it will become a significant source of income for the government.
Back in 2012 the Cyprus MP’s have adopted the legislation which banned the operation of online casinos, online poker and betting websites in the Republic.
