The oral driving licence test in Cyprus will be soon replaced with the computer test.
According to the new bill, which is submitted for discussion in parliament, computer-based test will cost no more than 30 euro. The amount already includes administrative fee and VAT. Tests might be also carried by private companies.
The main condition for the participants was the availability of examination centres in all major cities of the island: Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, Paphos and Paralimni.
As reported earlier, around 23 thousand theoretical driving tests are being conducted. Computer-based tests will allow the Road Transport Department to significantly expand the schedule for practical driving tests.
