Ayia-Napa is trying to attract more Russian tourists to visit the resort.
The mayor of the city believes that direct flights from the Ivanoskaya and Vladimirskaya regions to Larnaka will contribute to the growth of the tourist business in Ayia-Napa.
He has recently visited the Ivanovo region and met with the mayor of that city, where they have discussed the possibilities of mutually beneficial cooperation.
Ivanosk region with population just over 1 million people is the twin-city with Ayia-Napa since 2014.
