The Jet fighter SU-33 was returning to its carrier “Admiral Kuznetsov” after completing its mission in Syria. However, it failed to land both on the first and second attempts. Apparently, it just rolled over the deck because the braking line has snapped. The pilot managed to eject.
This is the second incident of the unsuccessful landing on the Russian aircraft carrier over the last month.
Earlier, in November MiG-29KR also fell into the Mediterranean Sea after unsuccessful landing on “Adminral Kuznetsov”.
