Angelina Jolie wished to become the “Ambassador” of Greece. She frequently visits the country for the movie shooting and for family vacations. According to Cyplive, her last visit to Greece she made in the status of special ambassador of UN High Commissioner on the issue of refugees.
The Hollywood star spent more than 24 hours in Greece, during which she met the refugees which are staying in the refugee centres in Athens and Lesbos.
She also met the Prime Minister of Greece Mr. Alexis Tsipras. During their meeting on the official residence, Mrs. Jolie offered her services as the “Ambassador of Greece”. This way she wanted to express her gratitude to Greece for what the country does for the refugees.
