According to Sigmalive portal poll, Cyprus president Nicos Anastadiades has high chances to stay for the second term.
Even though the present leader has not yet announced his intention to run for next presidential elections, the participants of the study believe that only two candidates will make it to the second round: Nikos Anastasiades and the son of the former president, Nicolas Papadopoulos, who is also the leader of DIKO party.
At the moment, only 44-year-old leader of democrats Nicholas Papadopoulos and 56-year-old former Foreign Minister Giorgos Lillikas, who is also a leader of Citizens’ Alliance , announced their nominations.
