The leader of the Turkish-Cypriots Mr. Mustafa Akinci stated that the dialogue can be resumed if the House of Representatives will cancel the decision of the Parliament to celebrate the Anniversary of Enosis in Cypriot school. In this case the leaders of the two communities will be able to meet on 29th or 30th of March, provided that Nicos Anastasiades will not leave to Malta.
This may become the first meeting of the two leaders since February. The decision to celebrate Enosis provoked sharp reaction from the Turkish side and Mr. Akinci left the negotiations table.
