The employees of the Civil aviation have announced that the airports in Greece will not work on the 7th of April due to the strike.
The protest will start at 00:01 and will finish at midnight of the same day. For the period, the flights will be suspended and the flights from Russian and back will be cancelled. Furthermore, many flights were cancelled by the Greek airlines Aegean Air and Olympic Air.
The Federation of Civil Aviation (OSYPA) joined the strike of the trade union of the public sector, which are against the liquidation of the system which provided the social support. Furthermore, the OSYPA is against the sale of the Greek airports. Such demands were provoked bythe sale of the right to operate 14 local airports to the German company Fraport.
