The hotel chain Hilton Worldwide, in cooperation with IBM, has created the first-ever concierge robot. It is operating in the hotel in Virginia, USA. Robot which s currently working in the test mode is created based on IBM’s supercomputer “Watson”.
He is called Conny, after the founder of the Hotel chain – Mr. Conrad Hilton. The robot is able to tell the visitors about the hotel and about the local attractions which are worth visiting.
The manufacturers state that -“Due to the built-in computer, Conny understands and is able to respond to the visitors. Furthermore, the more Conny will communicate with the customers, the faster he will understand the most popular queries and therefore his recommendations will improve over time”.
