World Art Day Limassol

From Friday 15th until Sunday 17th of April

The World Arts Day was established in 2012 by the International Arts Association (IAA) and is celebrated every year on 15th of April, on the birthday of Leonardo da Vinci.

Limassol will host the three day event in which the artists of various genres will present their works.

Open Studios

The event where more than 30 artists will work on the streets of the city, study the infrastructure and will invite the viewers to participate in the creative dialogue.

The Expo venue Beat Βαζάρ in the Limassol old town, for 4 days (from 11th until 14th of April) will be the working place of 5 artists – Christina Georgiou, Christina Papakyriacou, Loucas Ioannou, Marinos Houtris and Ria Alexandrou. Anyone can come to see observe the working process and to communicate with the artists.

The final works will be presented to the public in the evening of 15th of April. The exhibition will be open until 17th of April.

Video Art Exhibition

The video exhibition will be held at the Old Vinegar House.

This one-day exhibition will present the works of several authors.

Surprise

“Surprise” is the art installation by Elena Kotasvili and Fotini Perdikaki, which was presented for the first time at the 16th Cyprus Forum of the modern dances.

The installation can be seen at the Molos promenade from 15th until 17th of April.
