The Taming Of The Shrew – ballet broadcast from the Bolshoi Theatre

The K-Cineplex theatres in Paphos and Nicosia will broadcast the ballet “The Taming of the Shrew” from the Bolshoi Theatre.

Music by Dmitry Schostakovich, choreography by French choreographer Jean-Christofe Maillot.

Many grooms are dreaming to marry the gorgeous and sweet natured Bianca, including the charming member of the golden youth- Luchencio. However, Bianca’s father does not allow anyone to marry her before her elder sister- grumpy Katarina, will get married.

The French choreographer Jean-Christofe Maillot has adapted the Shakespear’s comedy specifically for the dancers of the Bolshoi. The exciting, bold and energetic play, which creates totally new appearance of the Bolshoi, is waiting for the spectators.
