“The Groom” – the movie

The German man Helmuth arrives to Russia to propose the Russian beauty Alena, whom he met in Berlin. THe happy couple goes to the village to meet the relatives of the bride. However, Alena’s ex-husband, Tolia, also arrives to the village because he suddenly decided to get her back. Everything turns into a romantic competition, which involves, apart from Helmuth and Tolia, friends, relatives and other residents of the village – the entrepreneur Erofeev, who purchased the neighboring house, the lost tank crew and even a snake.
