The cultural fund ARTos in Nicosia will host the festival of polish animation O!PLA ACROSS THE BORDERS.
The festival will demonstrate the best and newest works of polish animation masters over the last 2 years.
O!PLA is fully independent cultural project. 3rd festival was already presented in 51 cities of Poland from March until May of 2015, where the only judge making decisions about the winners was the general public of each participating town.
O!PLA ACROSS THE BORDERS – is the specialized program of contemporary polish animation for spectators over 16 years old.
Program of the festival includes:
- Motion pictures with significant budgets, which were created in professional studios;
- Totally independent animation projects;
- Films created in schools (works presented for graduation);
- Animated music videos;
- «Animated epigrams» (Very short films);
- FORMANIMA (experimental and abstract animation).
Films will be with English subtitles.
