“The Contribution”- movie

The K-Cineplex cinemas in Limassol, Nicosia, Paphos and Larnaca will show the historical detective film “The Contribution“.

Cast: Maxim Matveyev, Elizaveta Boyarskaya, Ekaterina Chagin, Nedezhda Tolubeeva, Ilya Noskov, Eugene Dyatlov, Konstantin Vorobyov and others.

The story is based on the novel by Leonid Yuzefovich. The plot takes palce in 1918 in the city of Perm. The  Siberian corps under the command of a young General Anatoly Nikolaevich Pepelyaev captures the city. The army is exhausted, short of ammunition, clothes and supplies. The General invites merchants of Perm for the purpose of collecting money for the need of the army. Rich widow Chagina brings an expensive diamond as contribution. The next day, the diamond mysteriously disappears.  The search for the diamond id delegated to “communist” investigator Andrey Murzin, who was sentenced to death, so he has to find the diamond in exchange for a pardon.
